How to find us
From Hillerød and Helsinge you take road 267 and there will be signs directing you to Sankt Helene. From Frederiksværk you take road 205 and there will be signs directing you to Tisvilde and Sankt Helene right after the museum ‘Geo Art’. From Helsingør you take road 237 to Vejby and then you follow the signs directing you to Tisvildeleje.
You can also take the train or the bus to Tisvilde (and Sankt Helene). The small local railroad called ‘Gribskovbanen’ will take you to Sankt Helene. The nearest stop is Godhavn which is only a 5-minute walk from Sankt Helene.
By train
From Copenhagen to Hillerød there is an S-train (in Danish S-tog) every 10 minutes during the rush hours and every 20 minutes at night and during weekends. From Hillerød to Tisvildeleje the local train ‘Gribskovbanen’ leaves Hillerød every hour at 8 minutes to the hour from 5.52 AM to 5.52 PM. After that, the train leaves less frequently and the last train leaves at 11.39 PM. Please note that the above-mentioned timetable does not apply during weekends and holidays.
From Tisvildeleje to Hillerød ‘Gribskovbanen’ leaves Godhavn every hour at 28 minutes past the hour from 5.28 AM to 6.28 PM. After that, the train leaves less frequently and the last train leaves at 13 minutes past midnight. Please note that the above-mentioned timetable does not apply during weekends and holidays.
By bus
From Frederiksværk-Frederikssund bus no 319 will take you to Helsinge and from there you take ‘Gribskovbanen’ to Tisvildeleje. From Helsingør via Græsted bus no. 331 will take you to Helsinge and from there you take ‘Gribskovbanen’ to Tisvildeleje.
From Gilleleje via Græsted-Helsinge bus no. 363 will take you to Tisvildeleje. Or from Græsted via Rågeleje-Vejby bus no. 357 will take you to Tisvildeleje.
