Music and Singing

‘The Leathernecks’, ‘Gentofte Choir’ and ‘Saints and Sinners’ are just some of the choirs that have stayed at Sankt Helene to practice as well as to perform. Most choirs rehearse in the Gallery, because of the splendid acoustics there, but for a very large group of people ‘Centersalen’ would be a better choice. And if you feel like testing your repertoire on a real live audience, the other guests at Sankt Helene usually enjoy a little entertainment during dinner.

Various orchestras and bands (jazz and swing) have stayed at Sankt Helene for a weekend of practicing and many of these have given a concert during their stay here.

We will, of course, be taking care of meals to give you plenty of time for practice and maybe even for a walk in the beautiful surroundings or a cup of hot chocolate at Café Helene.

Tisvilde Folk Festival

In Tisvildeleje the first weekend of September the village is "invaded" by people who love folkmusic and every cafe or restaurant open their doors to the bands and singers. You will find wellknown names from the bigger festivals in Denmark but also new and unknown artists who will maybe one day be stars of the bigger festivals.
